Position overview

Due to BioMedica’s continued growth, we are on the lookout for a like-minded professional to join our team as a Technical Educator and Writer. Reporting to the Clinical Resource Manager, the key roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Technical content development - you will assist with the development of practitioner technical education resources including articles, infographics and clinical tools/guides or other practitioner support materials
  • Clinical Support - assist the clinical support team, facilitating accurate and clinically relevant support for BioMedica practitioners
  • Training, Education and events - assist with the development of technical and product training materials, handouts or companion resources.  There is also potential to present at both internal and external seminars, webinars and education events, but it is not a requirement for this role

About you

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehensive research skills
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An aptitude for assessing the clinical relevance of scientific publications
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously whilst also being able to follow direction
  • A creative writer with an ability to produce novel and relevant content targeted at health professionals
  • Intermediate MS office skills 

Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Naturopathy (Australia) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in technical content development, adult education or practitioner clinical support would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Previous experience in adult education/training also advantageous
