Daniel Baden ND
Managing Director
Daniel is the managing director and co-founder of BioMedica Nutraceuticals. He is a qualified Naturopath and Homoeopath with 20 years of clinical experience. Daniel has been giving technical support to practitioners and assisting various groups in research projects for over 15 years. Having published several articles, consulted on natural medicines to various media groups, and lectured to the general public, undergraduates and practitioners since 1990, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all things BioMedica.
Garth Harris BSc (BioMed)
Director
Garth is director and co-founder of BioMedica Nutraceuticals. Garth Harris has been consulting in nutritional medicine and natural therapies for the past 20 years. Garth has a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Science (Biochemistry) from the University of Technology, Sydney, as well as Diplomas in Nutrition and Medical Herbalism, and is also the current Managing Director of Comprehensive Health Naturopathic Clinic in Roseville, NSW.
Gail Holmes ND BSc
Sales and Marketing Manager
Gail recently joined the BioMedica team in March 2010 as our Sales and Marketing Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) with 10 years solid experience in the natural health industry. During this time she has accumulated a background in sales/marketing, lecturing, and as a practitioner herself, understands the importance and value of 'high quality' and truly 'practitioner only' products in clinic. Gail looks forward to promoting our current range, including our innovative and exciting new products in 2010.
Nicole Hoyek ND
Marketing and Seminar Co-ordinator
Nicole joined BioMedica in January 2009. Nicole is a qualified Naturopath with over 5 years industry experience with a strong background in customer service and practitioner technical support. With the ever changing face and structure of BioMedica, Nicole has enjoyed several roles at BioMedica, including Office Administration, Accounts and most recently has stepped into the Marketing and Seminar Co-ordinator role. Nicole is looking forward to bringing you some exciting seminars in 2010!
Claire Briggs ND BSc
Product Development
Claire joined the BioMedica team in January 2009. She graduated from Macquarie University with a degree in Chiropractic Science and has followed her passion for natural therapies with study in Naturopathy. Claire is involved with product development and has found her role extremely rewarding. She enjoys all aspects of product development, and can’t wait to showcase all our exciting new products in 2010.
Evelin Colen ND
Product Development
Evelin is a qualified Naturopath and is currently finishing her Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at the University of New England. She joined the team in August 2009 as Operations Co-Ordinator, where she worked closely with the manufacturing and marketing team. Evelin was quickly promoted to Product Development Assistant where her drive for creating unique and clinically researched products has come to the fore. Through product formulations and providing technical support to practitioners, Evelin is able to pursue her passion for improving the quality of health of others.
Abbie Harris ND BHSc
Product Development
Abbie joined the BioMedica team in November 2009. Abbie is a qualified Naturopath and holds a Bachelor of Health Science through the University of New England. Her passion for herbal medicine and nutrition, combined with her professional experience in Business Operations and Marketing has provided a solid foundation for her contribution to the BioMedica team. Working in Operations for several months, Abbie has recently crossed over to Product Development where she will specialise in professional healthcare and functional food products. Abbie is always willing to assist with your technical enquiries.
Fran Takita B. Nat B. W. Herb Med
Operations Assistant
Fran is one of the newest members to the BioMedica team, joining us in March 2010. Fran has completed both a Bachelor in Western Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy. Her previous experience inlcudes Medical Administration for an Allied Health Practice as well as Medical Administration and Bereavement Counselling for a Palliative Care Unit.
